Understand the problem.
Take the right step.

This information is for initial guidance. A definite diagnosis requires technical inspection of the appliance.

Why does a boiler lose water?

Leaks in pipework or inside the appliance, pressure-related issues and component faults may cause water loss. Repeated losses require inspection rather than simply topping up.

The boiler runs but there is no hot water.

Settings, water flow or internal components may be involved. Share the displayed fault code, brand and model with the technician; do not open the appliance cover.

Why do some radiators not heat up?

Valve settings, air, circulation or dirty pipework may be involved. Inspection should follow the symptoms; one procedure does not solve every case.

Why is the AC not cooling?

Operating mode, temperature settings, dirty filters, airflow and technical faults may be involved. Poor cooling alone does not prove low refrigerant.

Why does the indoor AC unit drip water?

Blocked drainage, installation conditions or icing may need assessment. If water approaches electrical components, stop using the appliance and contact a technician.

How is AC maintenance timing determined?

Usage frequency, dust and manufacturer instructions are considered. Regular filter checks matter; technical maintenance is assessed for your appliance.

If you smell gas, do not operate electrical switches or use ignition sources. Move to a safe area and call Turkey's Natural Gas Emergency line on 187. Safety emergencies should not wait for a service appointment.

DESCRIBE YOUR ISSUE

My boiler or my AC…

Choose the closest symptom. These descriptions indicate areas to assess; a confirmed diagnosis requires inspection.

Boiler and radiators

My boiler loses water and pressure.

Boiler needs frequent refilling · Boiler pressure drops · Boiler water leak

Note how quickly the pressure falls and where any visible leak appears. Repeated refilling does not resolve the cause. Share the brand, model and any fault code when requesting a service assessment.

Related guide ↗
My boiler does not provide hot water.

Water stays cold · No hot water at the tap · Water alternates hot and cold

Explain whether all taps or only one tap is affected. Tell the service team whether the radiators work and whether the water remains cold or its temperature fluctuates.

Related guide ↗
My boiler runs but the radiators stay cold.

Boiler does not heat · Cold radiators · Home stays cold

Check the heating mode and room thermostat demand. Explain whether every radiator or only some are affected. A service assessment considers both the boiler and the heating system.

Related guide ↗
My boiler does not ignite or start.

Boiler will not fire · Boiler does not work · Boiler switches itself off

Note whether the display is on and record any fault code. Do not dismantle combustion or gas components. For a recurring fault, seek technical support rather than repeatedly resetting the appliance.

Related guide ↗
My boiler pressure keeps rising.

High boiler pressure · Pressure rises while heating · Water beneath the boiler

Explain whether the change happens while the appliance is cold or during heating. Correct values and checks depend on the model. Follow the manual and service guidance if pressure is high or water is discharged.

Related guide ↗
My boiler makes noise.

Boiler hums · Boiler rattles · Boiler vibrates

Describe whether the noise occurs at start-up or continuously, and whether it changes during hot water or heating use. A brief recording may help the service team; noise alone does not identify a failed part.

Related guide ↗
My boiler displays a fault code.

Boiler error · Red warning light · Boiler requests a reset

Share the exact code, brand and model. The same code may mean different things on different appliances. Use the model manual; a confirmed diagnosis or part quote requires assessment.

Related guide ↗
The bottom of my radiators stays cold.

Radiator heats unevenly · One radiator stays cold · Does the system need cleaning?

Valve settings, circulation and system condition are considered together. Cleaning is not automatically the answer to every cold radiator. Share how many are affected and the last maintenance date.

Related guide ↗
My boiler heats slowly or never reaches the set temperature.

Slow heating · Boiler runs continuously · Home does not warm up

Share room temperature, thermostat setting and affected radiators. Heating time also depends on the room and heating system; it is not determined by the boiler alone.

Related guide ↗
Hot water flow is weak but cold water flow is normal.

Low hot water flow · Weak hot water pressure · Weak hot shower

Explain whether one tap or all hot water outlets are affected. Tap water flow and the boiler heating pressure gauge measure different things. The tap, pipework and appliance may need assessment together.

Related guide ↗
My boiler switches on and off repeatedly.

Boiler starts frequently · Boiler cycles rapidly · Frequent ignition

Note the operating mode and approximate interval. Stopping does not always indicate a fault; repeated short runs require assessment of settings and operating conditions.

Related guide ↗
My boiler does not respond to the thermostat.

Thermostat will not start the boiler · Thermostat connection issue · Temperature demand ignored

Share the thermostat model and display message. Wired and wireless systems require different checks. Consult the model manual for settings without interfering with gas or electrical connections.

Related guide ↗
My radiators warm up when I only want hot water.

Warm radiators in summer mode · Radiators heat during hot water use · Heating does not stop

Distinguish a powered-off boiler from summer mode. Explain whether radiators warm during hot water use. This symptom alone does not establish that a particular part needs replacement.

Related guide ↗
I need boiler maintenance or a check after maintenance.

Annual boiler maintenance · Boiler issue after maintenance · Boiler maintenance cost

Share the last maintenance date, work performed and any new symptom. Ask which checks are included and whether repairs or parts are quoted separately.

Air conditioning

My AC does not cool and blows warm air.

AC does not cool the room · AC runs without cooling · Is the refrigerant low?

Check cooling mode, temperature setting and airflow. Lack of cooling alone does not prove low refrigerant. Tell the service team how the indoor and outdoor units operate and when the issue began.

Related guide ↗
My AC does not heat.

AC will not blow warm air · Cold air in heating mode · Poor winter heating

Check heating mode and the selected temperature. Some units temporarily pause airflow at start-up or during defrosting. Persistent poor performance requires assessment of the appliance and outdoor conditions.

Related guide ↗
My AC leaks water from the indoor unit.

AC drips indoors · Water beneath the unit · Is the drain blocked?

Specify whether water enters the room from the indoor unit or leaves the outdoor drain line. These are different situations. Stop using the unit if water approaches electrical parts and request drainage and installation checks.

Related guide ↗
My AC smells unpleasant.

Bad smell from AC · Musty AC smell · Does my AC need cleaning?

Note whether the smell appears at start-up or continuously. Filters, indoor unit and drainage condition may need assessment. Stop using the appliance and contact the service team if you notice a burning smell.

Related guide ↗
My AC makes noise or vibrates.

AC hums · Noisy outdoor unit · AC rattles

Identify whether the noise comes from the indoor or outdoor unit. Its duration, strength and relation to operating mode help assessment. Ask for installation and appliance checks for a new, pronounced noise.

Related guide ↗
My AC will not start or respond to the remote.

AC does not work · Remote does not work · AC light flashes

Check the remote batteries, selected mode and any display or indicator message. Share the flashing pattern and model. Do not dismantle electrical connections or the circuit board.

Related guide ↗
My AC has weak airflow or ice build-up.

AC does not blow air · Indoor unit freezes · Is the filter blocked?

Check whether airflow is obstructed and note filter maintenance. Do not scrape ice away. For persistent weak airflow or icing, share the operating conditions with the service team.

Related guide ↗
I want to move my AC.

AC removal and installation · AC relocation · Used AC installation

Share the current and new locations and photographs of both units. Pipework, power, drainage and access affect the work and quote. Agree on removal and reinstallation scope beforehand.

Related guide ↗
My AC switches itself off.

AC stops after a short time · AC cycles on and off · AC shuts down automatically

Check timer settings and operating mode. Note time before shutdown, indicators and airflow. Request assessment if the problem continues with normal settings.

Related guide ↗
My indoor AC unit runs but the outdoor unit does not.

Outdoor unit does not start · Outdoor fan does not turn · AC compressor does not run

Distinguish fan-only mode from cooling or heating. The outdoor unit may stop during some operating stages. Report unexpected prolonged stops, fault codes and loss of performance.

Related guide ↗
My AC displays a fault code.

AC error code · Error on AC display · AC indicators flash

Send a photograph of the code and flashing indicator with the brand and model. Meanings depend on the appliance. A code alone does not establish a need for refrigerant charging or board replacement.

Related guide ↗
My AC louvre does not open or change direction.

AC flap does not move · Swing does not work · Airflow direction is fixed

Check the remote airflow direction setting and describe louvre movement. Do not force it by hand. A direction-control problem is different from a fan that produces no airflow.

Related guide ↗
My outdoor AC unit produces water or ice.

Outdoor unit drips · Outdoor unit freezes · AC enters defrost mode

Specify heating or cooling mode. Water may appear during heating and defrosting; this differs from indoor leakage. Report persistent ice build-up and loss of performance.

Related guide ↗
My AC seems too small for the room or needs relocation.

Is the AC capacity sufficient? · What BTU size do I need? · AC relocation price

Share room size, sun exposure, insulation and current capacity. Floor area alone does not determine the correct size. Relocation also requires assessment of pipework, drainage, power and access.
